Tampa’s Trusted Metal Fabrication Experts
Based in Tampa, Florida, we proudly design and build our gates in-house, delivering high-end craftsmanship and custom designs for both residential and commercial clients.
Our company was founded in 1950 by the Ward family under the name Ornamental Design Ironworks. From the beginning, the Ward family built a business rooted in quality craftsmanship, timeless ironwork, and lasting relationships with contractors and families throughout the area. Many of their custom projects can still be seen across Tampa Bay and the surrounding communities today.
In 2021, new ownership led by Brady and Teresa Alvis acquired the company, bringing with it a renewed focus on quality, craftsmanship, and an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. Rebranded as Ornamental Design Inc., we set out to strengthen our commitment to our clients and community while honoring the legacy that came before us. We are proud to have retained many of the original fabricators during the transition—craftsmen whose skills and experience continue to define the excellence of our work.
